Job Description - Member Service and Sales Representative
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

Goal:To be an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering excellence in customer service as the premier car wash company in our community. Upholding our motto of Clean, Fast, and Friendly, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction with every interaction.

Key Roles and Accountability:
  • Greet customers enthusiastically to achieve new membership goals, maintaining Clean View standards and accurately inputting passes into the POS system.
  • Supervise, monitor, and assist preppers in fulfilling their duties during shifts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing information.
  • Demonstrate leadership through actions, effectively communicate and resolve issues, and uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the smooth functionality of the car wash and troubleshoot any potential issues.
Duties:
  • Actively sell wash memberships to contribute to meeting wash goals while maintaining a designated closing percentage.
  • Always greet customers with a smile and positive demeanor.
  • Supervise preppers' tasks, offering guidance, instructions, or coaching to meet performance expectations.
  • Report any instances of poor performance or insubordination to the General Manager.
  • Open/close the car wash as scheduled following the Jolt Process.
  • Be present at the kiosk to greet customers upon arrival and ensure timely service.
  • Follow the company's membership script when explaining membership options to customers.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all customers, regardless of their decision to purchase a membership.
  • Assist with lot maintenance, tunnel cleaning, and general upkeep tasks.
  • Answer phone calls as required.
  • Educate customers on the benefits and value of membership, ensuring sales are conducted with integrity.
  • Be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain a positive and enjoyable environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Previous sales and customer service experience
  • Prior experience in supervisory or team leadership roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and willingness to perform tasks such as shoveling when necessary.
  • Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions that others can follow.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Compensation:
  • Paid Training
  • Up to $20/Hr (With commission)
  • Commission After 30 days

Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary: $15/hour + Commission.

Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
